Holistic Nutritionists are trained health consultants who assess your nutritional needs and deficiencies through many perspectives. They do not simply take into account the result of a blood test, but help individuals recognize dietary deficiencies, and teach them how to correct them. They help guide individuals to make wiser food choices, and can assist in explaining the various products, supplements and diets available to consumers. The ultimate goal is a healthier diet, which leads to a more balanced body, mind, and soul.
Eli is DermIDEA’s Nutritional Counselling Assistant, a Holistic Nutrionist in training. Eli has travelled and worked in developing countries and seen first-hand the impact of malnourishment. She works as part of a team of dedicated professionals who aim to improve the health and well-being of those less fortunate. In search of a way to give back to her home community, she is on the path to becoming a Holistic Nutritionist.
Eli is an inspiration to all, leading a healthy, active lifestyle herself: walking to work, biking, skiing, and completing half-marathons. She is keen to help those looking to make better choices to attain optimal health.
Eli is currently pursuing a program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition to become a certified Holistic Nutritionist.
